Today’s the day where bloggers team up and share their
obsessionpastime, making new friends and gaining followers as a bonus and it’s all hosted by the brilliant Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every Friday, they feature a blogger and throw out a question to others as well as encouraging blog follows. Think of it as one big virtual coffee morning.
This week’s question:
What book/series do you think would make a better TV show than a movie?

I am not a King fan. I can never get into his writing. But he usually makes great on-screen entertainment. New BL follower.
His novellas are brilliant and not as ‘King-ish’ if that makes sense? Also try Joyland. Thanks for hopping by xx
I’ve never read any Stephen King, although I have seen some of the films.
New Follower.

Thanks for hopping by. The films are good, but I adore the books. xx
Great choice. I’m a new follower.

Oh man, OF COURSE. This is such an obvious answer that it didn’t even occur to me. How is it possible that someone hasn’t already done this?! I have not actually read the series yet (just started book one) and it is still clear to me that this would make for some fucking awesome television.
On a slightly tangential note, have you seen The Stand series? I have just gotten my hands on it but havent watched it yet. People keep telling me its kind of meh…
Stephen King makes creepy awesome! And I agree, every series that is longer than three books or so should definitely rather by a TV series than a move 🙂
Thanks for stopping by earlier Kate 🙂 Happy reading.
You know I love SK and have read most of his books yet I have never read this series and I think I actually have half of them on my shelf..lol. I am sure it would make a great TV series! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
