Feature And Follow Friday #12

Posted January 9, 2015 by Kate in meme, news and opinion / 48 Comments

Today’s the day where bloggers team up and share their obsession pastime, making new friends and gaining followers as a bonus and it’s all hosted by the brilliant Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every Friday, they feature a blogger and throw out a question to others as well as encouraging blog follows.  Think of it as one big virtual coffee morning.

Question of the Week: Do you have any fun collections (other than books)? – Suggested byPeace Love Books

Oh this question is so me it’s unreal! I am running out of shelf space due to my different collections, but I have two that are my main obsession.

The oldest of the two is the Lego Mini-Figure Collection as seen below. They’re dotted around all over the place, and between me and my son I think we have at least four different Emmets from The Lego Movie. I don’t go mad money wise with these (I think the most I’ve spent on an individual figure is £6) but if there’s a game or DVD released with a figure we tend to go with that edition. We also collect the sets between us, but have had to stop due to lack of display space.

The Olaf was my four yr old daughters. I so wish I’d videoed her opening it, as her reaction was priceless. 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by. xx

I love them to bits and some Adventure Time ones are on my list especially a Beemo.

I’ll be sure to stop by your giveaway too

Thanks for stopping by and the follow xx

Thank you. It’s a good job I have loads of bookshelves. It’s almost as if they were made to sit in front of books. 😉

      Thanks for stopping by xx

  2. Oh wow, I absolutely love your Pop Vinyls collection. I’ve actually been toying around with starting to collect those myself. Right now, all I have is the Funko Collector’s Vinyl for Doctor Whooves. I got it for my birthday from my sister and brother-in-law because I’m absolutely nuts about My Little Pony and Doctor Who. 🙂

Happy Reading and Hopping Through! 🙂

Space is a serious issue here too. I’m running out of walls to put shelves and bookcases on. :S

      Thanks for stopping by xx

  3. Those are some really great things to collect 🙂 They looks so cute! I just watched The Lego Movie recently! New Bloglovin’ follower! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

I saw the movie twice in the cinema and it always seems to be on at home. Can’t wait for the second one.

Thanks for stopping by and the follow xx

  4. You could always find someone who can try and pass them on DVDs. I learnt tha Videotapes lose their images after some years.

Thank you for the follow! Followed on Insta, Bloglovin, GoodReads

  5. A lover of Stephen King I see! I’m drooling over your collection right now. I love legos, but I never thought to ever collect them. I just started purchasing Funko Pop vinyl figures last year, but I absolutely love them. You know my first purchase was Spiderman lol.

I love King, and because I’ve read all of those, it’s the one shelf I can place the Lego without it being disturbed.
Funkos are great, especially if you can find a reliable retailer who keeps the price low. (Avoid amazon like the plague – far too expensive)

      Thanks for stopping by xx

Thanks. I highly recommend them, but, like good chocolate, you can never stop at one. 😉
